BLOOMING IN THE FIERY A group of plant lovers and botanists’ were on a field trip,
looking for a rare plant. Although the early spring weather in the mountains was still cool and comfortable, the area where they were
searching was known to be quite warm. The search was rewarded when someone found the first Lewisia rediva
bravely crawling up between hot serpentine rocks. Soon the members of the team
were all down on elbows and knees vying for the best close up shots of the delicate flowers. How could such a delicate and beautiful flower bloom amid these
hot and arid conditions? My Prayer ~ “Lord
when life is the most difficult, help me to bloom into a beautiful Christian, allowing your love and power to shine out. Make
me like the Lewisia rediva.” “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12 | Send this to friends and family!
