THE ULTIMATE PRAYER Something Wonderful To Look Forward To! What is your concept of prayer? Here are some answers that you might give: 1. Talking
to God as to a friend. 2. A petition
to a higher power. 3. Saying
grace at meals and ‘forgive me for my sins and bless everyone’, at bedtime. 4. Opening
my heart to God and putting everything in His hands. 5. Praise
and thanksgiving. 6. Constant
communication every waking hour, and special seasons of talking to God on bended knee. Do you remember
what your last prayer was like? How often you pray, and what the main subject was about?
Many Christian women have experienced an active prayer life, a communication in thought or spoken word to God sometimes
alone or with friends. When describing
this prayer life they tell of the comfort and strength and power that has come into their life. One dear woman shared with
me that each morning when she goes outside to her patio to pray she feels the angels close to her. And I am sure she does,
for her life reflects the love of Jesus. Maybe you
have had this kind of experience. Maybe you have some stories of how God has abundantly answered your prayers. Can you imagine then the ultimate prayer? Someday Jesus will return and we will go to live with
him for eternity. Think how it will be when you pray your first prayer, face to face with Jesus! OH GLORY! To meet our dear
Friend whom we have often talked to in prayer, face to face! I can only image, think about it. Imagine how it will be. 1Corinthians “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as I am known”. Revelation 22:4 “And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.” Face To Face With Christ My Savior Composer: Grant Colfax Tullar 1898 Author: Mrs. Frank A.
